Terms & Conditions – Kegel’s Inn Gasthaus

By booking and staying at Kegel’s Inn Gasthaus, you agree to the following terms and conditions. These policies are in place to protect our historic property, our restaurant operations, and the comfort of all guests.

Occupancy & Use

  • The apartment is for registered guests only. No unregistered visitors or overnight guests are permitted without prior approval.
    Parties, events, or gatherings are strictly prohibited. 
  • Quiet hours are observed from 10:00 PM to 10:00 AM, aligned with restaurant operations.

Smoking & Prohibited Activities

  • Smoking is strictly prohibited anywhere inside the apartment or common areas. Evidence of smoking will result in an additional cleaning fee.
    Illegal activity of any kind will result in immediate termination of the stay without refund.

Historic Building Acknowledgement

  • Kegel’s Inn Gasthaus is a historic building with original features and plumbing.
  • Guests agree to treat all fixtures, plumbing, and furnishings with care.
  • Improper use of plumbing (including flushing feminine hygiene products, wipes, or foreign items) may result in additional cleaning or repair charges.

Water Damage Policy

  • Guests are responsible for preventing water damage.
  • Shower curtains must remain inside the shower enclosure at all times.
  • Any water pooling on the bathroom floor must be cleaned immediately.
  • Water damage that affects the restaurant below may result in additional cleaning or repair fees.

Noise Awareness

  • Guests acknowledge that the apartment is located above an active restaurant.
  • Restaurant noise may be audible during operating hours, which conclude no later than 10:00 PM.

Climate Control

  • Please turn off air conditioning when leaving the apartment.
  • Excessive or negligent use of heating or cooling systems may result in additional charges.

Glassware & Property

  • Authentic Hofbräu steins provided are part of the apartment inventory.
  • Any glassware not returned to the apartment will incur a $25 replacement fee per item.
  • Damaged, missing, or stolen items will be charged accordingly.

Parking

  • Parking is provided in the Kegel's Inn Restaurant Parking lot as a courtesy and is subject to availability.
  • Guests are responsible for obtaining overnight street parking permits when required.
  • Kegel’s Inn Gasthaus is not responsible for tickets, towing, or vehicle damage.

Food & Deliveries

  • Guests are responsible for coordinating deliveries directly with drivers.
  • The property is not responsible for missed or unattended deliveries.

Check-In / Check-Out

  • Check-in: 4:00 PM
  • Check-out: 10:00 AM
  • Late check-out without approval may result in additional charges.
  • Early check-in or late check-out may be accommodated for a $50 fee, subject to availability.

Cleaning & Condition

  • Guests are expected to leave the apartment in reasonably clean condition.
  • Excessive mess, damage, or violations of house rules may result in additional cleaning or repair fees.

Liability

  • Guests assume responsibility for their personal belongings.
  • Kegel’s Inn Gasthaus is not liable for loss, theft, or damage to personal property.
  • Guests agree to use the premises at their own risk.

Right to Refuse or Terminate Stay

  • Management reserves the right to refuse service or terminate a stay for violations of these terms, unsafe behavior, or misrepresentation at booking.
